CASE STUDIES

OCEANIUM

We turned a modest Blue Economy investment into national news by linking the story to regeneration of regional livelihoods in Scotland.

We worked with the founders of Oceanium on the news story and associated wider features, focusing on the role of women in the seaweed farming industry to support job creation, producing raw materials to enable a value chain from food to bio-packaging.

We secured 15+ stories on the raise across key sectors and territories. Founder interviews aired on BBC news bulletins on launch day. Follow-up coverage included a feature on BBC’s flagship current affairs programme, Today which made both client and strategic investor, WWF very happy.

TENSEI

The idea of ‘Second Harvest’ is a powerful platform for a comms campaign with messages for farmers, the circular economy and waste conscious corporations as well as consumers.

We are helping Tensei founder Annabelle Cox take ownership of this idea to win hearts and minds for her scale-up materials innovation business. A combination of stakeholder and media engagement ensures that potential investors and partners are  in the loop on the potential for this exciting technology with the power to keep trees in the ground.

BETOLAR

We supported Betolar with an international press office in the build up to its public listing.

Finnish innovator Betolar is on a mission to disrupt the cement industry with green chemistry that enables side streams from many different industrial processes to become the sustainable feedstock for green cement production.

Betolar’s unique recipes dramatically lower the energy needed to manufacture cement and its use of waste even makes cement production part of the circular economy.
