Giles Hutchins is a leading proponent of organisational design thinking inspired by nature. His real passion is helping leaders become more conscious, and to help them create the conditions for their organisations to become vibrant future-fit living organisations.

From his 60 acre, ancient woodland retreat in Hampshire, Springwood his Leading by Nature leadership and team development work draws on wisdom in nature, applying it to how we build and lead future-fit organisations. Nature is regenerative, we need our organisations and systems to learn from the natural world because we only have the resources of one planet. What do we mean by ‘regenerative’?  To work the way life works, creating conditions that allow life (and all stakeholders) to thrive.

He is the author of the blog The Nature of Business and the three books The Nature of Business (2012), The Illusion of Separation (2014), Future Fit (2016) and co-author of Regenerative Leadership (2019). He regularly guest lectures at leading Universities and Business Schools as well as being invited to be a keynote speaker at conferences.

He has over 20 years’ business experience in helping all shapes and sizes of organisations transform. Formerly, over a decade as management consultant, programme manager and business practice lead at KPMG, and more recently Global Head of Sustainability for the global technology provider Atos.
