Launch of the 5th Global Report on Adult Learning and Education at the 7th International Conference on Adult Education (CONFINTEA VII).

We secured 27 pieces of coverage in English, French and Spanish with a reach of around 80 million across Europe, South America and The United States. We also drafted human stories to raise awareness of the importance of adult education on learners and how it has the potential to positively transform lives. We conducted interviews with six interviewees – learners and educators – in Thailand, Egypt and Kenya (interviews took place in English and Arabic). Gong translated the Arabic interview into English and then wrote up a third-person account of all three interviews to shed light on the impact of adult education on learners and how it has the potential to positively transform lives. The stories now live on the UNESCO official website.
